COPALP release a straton® runtime for the second edition of the IPC DAS open controller: WinPAC-8000.
Benefits for customers are an easy way for developing application through the straton Integrated Development Environment (IDE), transparent integration of several protocols from MODBUS up to Profinet or other dedicated protocols for various market and integration of the onboard I/O modules.
This new generation is equipped with a PXA270 CPU (520MHz) and runs a Windows CE.NET 5.0 operating system, including variant connectivity’s (VGA, USB, Ethernet, RS-232/485) and 1/4/8 slots for high performance parallel I/O modules (high profile I-8K series) and serial-type I/O modules (high profile I-87K I/O modules). This product propose dual LAN, redundant power input, dual battery backup SRAM, etc. and bring all of the best features of both traditional PLCs and Windows capable PCs.
